Hotel Accommodations
Hilton Irvine – Orange County Airport Hotel 
18800 MacArthur Blvd., Irvine, CA (866) 763-3059 $119/night king or two double beds. We will arrange a shuttle ride to UCI 45 minutes before the conference starts each day.
Saturday’s Dinner Buffet is $15. There are also several restaurants within walking distance on the north east side of Campus Dr. Restaurants on campus may be limited on Saturday night. Please mention if you will be joining us for dinner
Sunday’s Box Lunch is $10
Parking is $10 at the student center parking area.
Directions: From the 73 freeway take the University exit and go left or east (follow the UCI signs) Turn right on Campus. Turn right on Peltason and then two quick lefts into the main parking garage. When exiting the garage, go south directly into the student center and follow the OCFA signs.
From the 405 freeway go south on Culver, pass University Dr and turn right on Campus. Turn left on Peltason and then two quick lefts into the main parking garage. When exiting the garage, go south directly into the student center and follow the OCFA signs.
Vendor fee – one day $75, both days $125. Maximum 2 people per vendor.
Child Care: $15 per day - Sarah Dunn, Ph.D., is one of our members and is well-versed in child care. She incorporate science into all of the activities. For example, she has an “instrument petting zoo” that allows children to touch and play several instruments and learn about sound, pitch, frequency, and tone. She also do playtime with a soap-bubble machine, wherein we talk about surfactants as well as names of shapes (circle, sphere, orb, etc), and we introduce the concept of volume. All art activities talk about science and theory of color as well as color and depth perception.
